The QualityPro accreditation and service certifications each include a training and testing step to verify that every employee who will perform or sell for an accredited company has the knowledge needed to do the job and exemplify the professionalism of our industry. A National Level of Knowledge

Each state and province across the U.S. and Canada has their own requirements for what a person needs to prove in order to do pest control. The state license exams are focused on technical and safety topics. While these are essential, they are not everything. Like the QualityPro standards, the exams cover many aspects of what it means to be professional in pest management. An individual that has earned the QualityPro Core Exam’s certificate of completion has proven knowledge of the technical aspects of the job, safety, sales and customer service.

Preparing employees to pass the QualityPro exam leads companies to provide well-rounded training. Companies earning and maintaining QualityPro accreditation use the content in the QualityPro Study Guide as a basis for their training programs. Although the study guide and exams are only available (for free) to companies earning and maintaining QualityPro, the outline of topics is now included in the V6.1 standards.
