Meeting Current Challenges Head-On

We’re almost halfway through 2022! Back in March, NPMA wrapped up another successful Legislative Day, the first in-person DC gathering we’ve had in two years. Thank you so much to our sponsors and participants—there are many pressing legislative issues facing the pest management industry in 2022, and our unified voice was invaluable in letting our concerns be known to legislators. A special thank you to NPMA staff for top-notch organization and execution.

Beyond legislative concerns for 2022, the industry—and the world in general—also faces unprecedented challenges on the employment front. As I’ve mentioned in previous issues, there is a growing need to attract and retain employees, and NPMA’s Workforce Development Program is working to confront this issue head-on.
