Pest Management Foundation Announces Three New Endowed Scholarships
The Pest Management Foundation has announced three new scholarships as part of its new endowed scholarship program. These scholarships represent a commitment to the development of the next generation of pest management professionals through the support of students pursuing higher education and to those parents and families working in the field.
The new scholarships are:
- Jim Ogle Scholarship, endowed by James Ogle
Jim Ogle always believed in education and having a quality training program for his company, Lloyd Pest Control. It is with great honor that the Ogle family has created the Jim Ogle Endowed Scholarship to help further college education in entomology or other pest management research.
- NPMA Bright Futures Scholarship, endowed by the National Pest Management Association
The NPMA Bright Futures Scholarship serves to inspire innovation and excellence in the industry by supporting the next generation of pest management professionals. Through this scholarship, NPMA hopes to carry on the legacy of all past presidents through fostering talent and driving progress in the pest management industry.
- Dr. Phil Koehler Scholarship, endowed by Jerry Gahlhoff
Dr. Phil Koehler dedicated his career to supporting and developing students in Urban Entomology. This scholarship was established to honor his efforts by providing financial support to students that desire to study and find careers in this wonderful industry.
All applications for the upcoming year will open on October 1. Further details on applying for these scholarships can be found at www.NPMAFoundation.org. For more information about the
