NPMA Announces Webinar for Aspiring Board Members
NPMA is extending an invitation to all members interested in taking a more active role in the association's decision-making process to join us for an upcoming webinar to learn more about serving on the Board of Directors.
To provide more information and answer any questions potential candidates might have, NPMA is hosting a special webinar on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. (EST). This webinar will cover the responsibilities and expectations of board service, as well as the process for submitting a nomination.
The NPMA Board of Directors comprises 26 voting members, including key leadership positions of President, Immediate Past President, President-Elect, Treasurer, and Secretary. In addition, there are 10 Directors-at-Large elected from the general membership, five Regional Directors, and two Associate Directors elected at the board's discretion. The board also includes one additional Past President representative, two Allied Member representatives, and one UPFDA representative.
NPMA emphasizes the importance of diverse representation on its board and volunteer committees to ensure a wide range of voices and perspectives are heard.
Members who wish to influence the future direction of NPMA and grow professionally within the association are encouraged to submit their nominations. The nomination period is now open, and the deadline for applications is August 26, 2024.
