Executive Leadership Forum Gathers in New Orleans
Last week, the Executive Leadership Forum (ELF) brought together volunteer leaders from across the pest management industry to prepare for the coming leadership year and ensure NPMA members and the industry are positioned for continued success. Futurist Simon Anderson presented on emerging trends, including the impact of AI on pest management. Steve Good also facilitated the annual P3 strategic planning session. P3 stands for Purpose. Plan. Progress. and allows NPMA to keep a pulse on industry issues and most positively influence the future.
As part of ELF, steering committees for Workforce Development and IDEA (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) both met, as well as the Boards of the Pest Management Foundation, Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), and the Foundation for Professional Pest Management (DBA QualityPro)
The three-day program concluded with a meeting of the NPMA Board of Directors where outgoing president Marillian Missiti passed the gavel to incoming president Faye Golden and noted that the industry was "witnessing history".
Graduates of the inaugural class of NPMA's Leader Launch program shared their final presentations with the NPMA Board with each member of the class providing highlights of their experience in the 18-month leadership program.
