Legislative Day Highlights: Awards and Impressions on Capitol Hill
Pest management professionals from across the nation made their voices heard on Capitol Hill during NPMA’s annual Legislative Day Program with record-breaking attendance of over 450 pest management professionals! Attendees had the opportunity to see an exciting lineup of Keynote speakers including political analysts Mo Elleithee and Chris Stirewalt, Presidential Historian Lindsay Chervinsky, and columnist and author Matt Lewis.
NPMA honored the contributions of our members with several awards including the Policy Person of the Year Award, presented to Dwight Reynolds (Rentokil-Terminix) and the David Cooksey PestVet of the Year awarded to Jeff Keller (Burns Pest Elimination). PCT presented the 2023 Technicians of the Year Awards to Tom Kuligoski (Rose Pest Solutions), Matt Hall (Rottler Pest Solutions), and Marvin Dalton (Accel Pest & Termite Control).
On the final day of the meeting, over 220 attendees met with 188 offices in both the House and Senate, with over 15 member-level meetings from 35 states!
