Fairfax, VA – July 26, 2023 – The Pest Management Foundation has announced the first recipient of the New Jersey Pest Management Association Pest Professional Stewardship Scholarship.
This year’s recipient is Anthony Iannuzzi of Deptford, New Jersey. Anthony is currently a senior at Rowan University, majoring in both accounting and finance and is currently working as an intern at Hoffman’s Exterminating as part of the accounting team.
The New Jersey Pest Management Association generously endowed the New Jersey Pest Management Association Pest Professional Stewardship Scholarship earlier this year. "We are thrilled to announce Anthony Iannuzzi as the deserving recipient of the inaugural New Jersey Pest Management Association Pest Professional Stewardship Scholarship. Anthony's dedication to both his academic pursuits and his internship at Hoffman's Exterminating exemplifies the passion and commitment we hope to encourage in the next generation of pest management professionals. Through this endowed scholarship, we aim to foster the growth of exceptional individuals who will contribute to the advancement of the pest management industry. Congratulations, Anthony, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact you will undoubtedly make in our field." said William Hoffman, Immediate Past President of NJPMA and President & CEO of Hoffman’s Exterminating in Mantua, NJ.
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants need to be a student graduating from a high school (with at least 3.0 or higher) located in the State of New Jersey, and entering college, trade school, or certificate program in the field of professional pest management. A parent, guardian, or family member must also be working in the pest control industry, and their company must be a member in Good Standing with the NJPMA.
