NPMA Announces Resources for Celebrating April as National Pest Management Month
Fairfax, VA -- March 26, 2025 - The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) proudly celebrates April as National Pest Management Month, highlighting the essential role of pest management professionals in protecting public health, food, and property. This annual observance, established by the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), recognizes the dedication of service professionals, customer service representatives, sales personnel, managers, and everyone who contributes to this vital industry.
Continuing the success of previous years, NPMA has updated its dedicated webpage for industry professionals to celebrate the significant contributions of the pest management community in safeguarding communities nationwide. Under the theme "Innovation in Action: Advancing Pest Management for a Healthier Tomorrow," NPMA provides comprehensive tools for professionals to recognize team members, colleagues, and coworkers for their outstanding service.
This recognition program is proudly sponsored by Syngenta, whose support demonstrates the industry's commitment to collaborative efforts in addressing pest-related challenges and promoting sustainable solutions.
"We are grateful to Syngenta for their continued partnership in developing and enhancing this important industry recognition program," said Dominique Stumpf, CEO of NPMA. "As we celebrate another year of National Pest Management Month, we remind the public that pest management is fundamental to protecting public health, preserving food supplies, and safeguarding properties from damage."
Throughout April, NPMA encourages pest management professionals to utilize the website resources, which include customizable e-cards for colleagues and staff, as well as ready-to-use graphics and copy for social media platforms. These resources emphasize the critical role of pest management and showcase the industry's unwavering commitment to creating healthier, safer communities.
“The pest management industry continues to drive innovation in public health protection, ensuring our families and communities remain safe from pest-related threats. Syngenta is proud to partner with NPMA for National Pest Management Month as we honor the tireless efforts of pest management professionals who work daily to create healthier environments through cutting-edge, sustainable solutions.” noted Marshall Gaster, Head of Marketing, Professional Pest Management at Syngenta.
