Best of the Best Recognized at NPMA’s Annual Event
Boston, MA – October 13, 2022 – The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) recognized industry leaders as part of their Thursday General Session at PestWorld 2022, being held in Boston, MA.
During its annual awards ceremony, held Thursday, October 13, several key awards were presented, including the ACE Professional Award (presented by the Entomological Society of America, Global Ambassador Award, Women of Excellence Award, the Emerging Leaders Award, the NPMA Gives Award, and Committee of the Year Award and the Chairperson of the Year Award.
Billy Oleson of PestStop Pest Control in Tumwater, Washington received the Entomological Society of America’s ACE Professional Award.
Sheila Haddad of Bell Laboratories in Southington, Connecticut received the Women of Excellence Award. This award recognizes female pest management professionals who demonstrate outstanding leadership and have made notable contributions to the development and growth of other women in the industry. This award is sponsored by Target Specialty Products.
Moises Capetillo Gonzalez, the General Director of MIPUSA in Veracruz, Mexico was awarded the Global Ambassador Award. This award recognizes an individual who has distinguished themselves through organizing and implementing a wide range of programs and activities in their country that serve and support the pest management industry, contribute to education, and/or coincide with and support the programs and goals of NPMA.
Ashley Marratt, CEO of Red Coat Pest Solutions in Atlanta, Georgia was the recipient of the Emerging Leaders Award. This award recognizes rising stars, who have already made significant contributions to the Association and/or to the pest management profession and have demonstrated the potential for leadership and continuing service. The award is sponsored by Rentokil Terminix.
Hoffman’s Exterminating of Mantua, New Jersey was awarded the NPMA Gives Award. This award recognizes NPMA member companies that have demonstrated leadership through their dedication and contribution to the good of the community. This award is sponsored by WorkWave.
The Business Development Committee was awarded Committee of the Year, and Sara Cromwell of Abell Pest Solutions, chair of the Recruitment & Retention Committee, was the recipient of the Committee Chair of the Year Award.
