Joel Nolasco

Joel Nolasco’s introduction to the industry occurred 16 years ago while in college and working for Terminix. After moving up the ranks at Terminix, he had the opportunity to work for a smaller pest control company in NYC that allowed him to divert from corporate policies and work with various groups on a more personal level. He then joined a childhood friend to start NuBorn Pest Control. Joel also served as a board member of the inaugural New York Pest Management Association board and worked his way up to serve as president. Currently, Joel serves as the NYPMA past President, current council member in NPMA LNC, and current Chair of the NPMA Diversity Committee.

Billy Oleson

Billy Olesen, CEO PestStop Pest Control, began his journey in the pest management industry in 2002. At the time he was working for his father and representing the family's fourth generation in the industry. In his two decades of experience, he has gained a passion for continuing to grow his understanding. Through his dedication to learn, he was able to become an Associate Certified Entomologist in 2014. In 2022, he was recognized as the winner of the Associate Certified  Entomologist Professional from the Entomological Society of America (ESA). Olesen remains an active member in his community through his service as Chairperson on the Kitsap County Noxious Weed Control Board. In 2019, he was elected to the Washington State Pest Management (WSPMA) Board. He currently serves as WSPMA President and Vice SPAR and continues to advocate and educate the members of the Association through his leadership. In addition to the above accomplishments, Olesen is dedicated to addressing pollinator health and serves on the Washington State Pollinator Health Task Force. On a national level, Olesen was a member of the inaugural class of NPMA's Executive Leadership Program (ELP). This program helped prepare Billy for his positions on NPMA's Diversity Task Force and countless other NPMA committees. The support and challenge from those surrounding him has influenced and shaped him into the person he is today. Looking forward, he hopes to continue to inspire others through his leadership and actions.
