NPMA 2018 Annual Report

Dear Members,

Professional pest control serves a critical role in society. We have a clearly defined vision of every home and business utilizing professional pest control services, and we spent much of the last year building on the foundational plans set forth in our strategic plan.

2018 was a busy year for our industry with significant progress being made. We welcomed more than 500 new member companies to our organization and initiated new programs and committees, including two new Resource Center programs, and the Recruitment & Retention committee. Our public policy team worked to enact change and preserve our interests on regulation and legislation – both on the Hill and in local municipalities. QualityPro developed standards for its fourth certification: QualityPro Public Health.

We also continued to get our messages out to the consumer audiences through the work of the Professional Pest Management Alliance. In 2018, we’ve been everywhere – in magazines, newspapers, TV news programs, and across social media. We’ve driven more than 5.7 million consumers to PestWorld.org.

I encourage you to check out our 2018 Annual Report to see all that has been accomplished over the last year. Working in this industry is something we can, and should all be proud of – we could not have achieved all of this without YOU!

Thank you for your support, we are energized, ready and poised for growth and we look forward to what the future holds

Sincerely,

Dominique Stumpf, CMP, CAE
NPMA Chief Executive Officer
