SSB 3125—Relating to incidents involving pesticide contamination was introduced in the Iowa Senate on 02/09/2016. It appears this bill is targeted at agricultural use patterns, but as written there is concern that it could affect structural use patterns if “application by air” is interpreted very broadly and not just aerial applications. This bill is a result of a collaborative effort authored by the Democratically controlled Senate Natural Resources and Environment Committee.
