Course Info
NPMA’s “Pest Management in Food Processing & Handling Facilities” course is a seven-part course that trains and evaluates knowledge of the 2016 Standards for Pest Management in Food Processing and Handling Facilities.
The 2016 version provides updates and improvements to better address changing regulatory requirements and Food Safety Modernization Act standards, new technologies and better integrated pest management practices.
Successful completion requires passing an exam. For each of the seven parts. The passing score is 80%. There is no limit to the number of times you may take the exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will earn a certificate that provides evidence of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) training.
The cost of the course is $50, which will be charged to your branch. Completion of the course will be processed monthly by the Rollins LMS administrator upon notification by NPMA.
The course itself has 4 parts: Authentication, Download the “2016 Standards for Pest Management in Food Processing and Handling Facilities,” Download the “NPMA Course Study Guide,” and take the exam.
While you may share the “Standards”, NPMA has made a unique effort with Rollins to have access to their “Study Guide”. Therefore, it is important that you do not share the “Study Guide” with anyone who has not officially signed up for the course.
This training replaces the AIB course. For those that have completed the AIB or are currently enrolled in that course, you do not need to also take this NPMA course.
