Bring Your Kids to Legislative Day for the Kids’ Program

Join us for an exciting Kids' Program in Washington, DC! Start the day by exploring the iconic U.S. Capitol, where young learners can discover how our government works and see history come to life. From the Capitol, the group will visit some of the most iconic monuments and memorials along the National Mall and Tidal Basin and get to experience the beauty of DC. End the day at Planet Word Museum, the only museum in the country dedicated to renewing and inspiring a love of words and language. Opened in 2020, this is one of DC’s newer museums and was a 2024 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award winner. This museum gives kids the opportunity to dive into the magic of language through interactive exhibits and creative activities. This program is perfect for curious minds looking to discover the wonders of our Nation’s Capital and is a day they won’t soon forget!

NPMA welcomes parent participation in the Kids' Program by serving as chaperones. If interested in chaperoning, please email meetingsteam@pestworld.org, or indicate your interest in chaperoning when you fill out the Kids' Program Survey.
