NPMA's divisions allow members with common interests to meet, read about,
and stay informed about a particular segment of the industry. Each division
will have special seminars and training opportunities, technical and
business information, and other assistance. NPMA divisions are commercial, fumigation, lawn care, residential,
wildlife,
and WDO.
Each Division is paired with an NPMA staff member and guided by its respective Steering Committee, which is made up of NPMA members that have expressed interest in the Committee and appointment by NPMA's president-elect.
Commercial Division Steering Committee: Addresses projects and policies related to any commercial building service including businesses, manufacturing, food protection, retail, schools, institutions, and multi-family housing.
Fumigation Division Steering Committee: Addresses policies and procedures related to fumigation. This heavily regulated area has had many changes over the past few years and this division works to promote the importance of fumigation and provides information to fumigators.
Lawn Care Division Steering Committee: Discusses lawn care related issues and provides solutions to companies’ technical, business, and training needs.
Residential Division Steering Committee: Sets the stage for issues related to residential pest management including protocols and guidelines, warranties, contracts, and sales education. The division also develops educational materials and sessions for PestWorld.
Wildlife Division Steering Committee: Addresses the specialty of wildlife management, which includes any animal not covered by the traditional pest control license.
Wood Destroying Organisms (WDO) Division Steering Committee: Develops strategies and sets priorities for any NPMA issues related to wood destroying organisms. |
